Do you realise how many things you could do in 5 minutes?

My Pinterest feed is full of articles about how productive you can be in 5 minutes. The idea is to use those little pockets of time throughout the day to be super productive.

Waiting for coffee to brew? You should tackle that pile of mail.
Waiting at the doctor’s office? You should update your Google Calendar.
Cleaning your teeth? You should wipe down the sink and toilet. 

And I agree with every single one of them.

But I’ve noticed that on those days where I’m trying to be constantly productive, constantly running around, and constantly ticking things off my to-do list, I end up stressed and wired at the end of the day.

Worse still I find that I haven't enjoyed my day; like a bride who spends her whole wedding day fretting over trivial details rather than drinking in the memories. 

And I don’t think I’m the only one who feels this way.
